New Thought History

From a historical American standpoint, the Law of Attraction came from the New Thought Movement. The movement came from the teachings of Phineas Parkhurst Quimby. But as we are all aware and have heard of at some point, the Law of Attraction existed centuries before Phineas Parkhurst Quimby was born. Many ancient cultures have, in one way or another, expressed and practiced the same idea that encapsulates the Law of Attraction.

The Different States of Consciousness

Conscious State

There is the conscious state which is what you see and where you do everything. This represents you in your waking moments. In this state, you see things in the physical reality.
